I just hope you don’t raise anymore taxes!!
If the city/county want to recoup some of the money lost in the 911 system they should start charging local businesses and homeowners for repeated alarm calls. You get three chances to fix your alarm system and then it’s $200 for homeowners, $500 for business owners. Deputies and police officers spend a ridiculous amount of time on these calls. They also need to start enforcing the laws against abusing the 911 system. For some odd reason the locals think the 911 system is their personal bouncer, divorce counselor, and addiction counselor.
Why worry about Millions or Billions when you are not good at managing or investing thousands? Maybe they should spend more time and effort on the thousands that are then the billions that may never be?
bahhhaahhaa quit hiring city workers that just sit around on the clock and not work!! you will have your thousands..
